Even MORE amazing news!

More amazing news being that I was stopped at a stop light yesterday morning and there was a large black woman wearing a parka and no pants. She had her leg propped up on a fire hydrant and she was SHAVING IT. I fumbled to get my phone so I could take a picture but the guy in back of me started beeping his horn. I leaned out the window to do a "do you see what is happening here?!" gesture. But, alas, I had to move.
Carey spent the night last night and when we were driving her home this morning we drove by the lady. She was in the same place with her bright white parka and her silky smooth legs.

Sunshine Swimming

It's a beautiful day. I am so grateful every morning I wake up and see the sun shine. I know that the light is leaving us - I get up at 5:30 am on Mondays and Wednesdays and it's so much harder to drag my sorry ass out of bed when it's dark out. I'm just happier when it's sunny. The dark months, the late ones like January and March, April and May are the worst - they kinda kill me. You are sort of forced to crawl into your brain to keep your head above water. It's true, the sunlight does so much for your happy gene!

I'm going swimming today. Because I love nature: Exhibit A
I'm excited to soak up some of that much loved sun. I gotta start layin on the sunscreen though. I'm already all Mexico colored and I leave for the playa in two weeks (ek!Yay!)

Like a Kid Waiting For Summer Camp

Today the sky is baby blue. It's a slow day and I have time to go back and read some of my past posts. "My fourth year at Burning Man.."
"My third year heading to the playa"
I'm starting to get excited. I leave in two weeks (give or take). I'm starting to day dream about dust in my mouth, the wind sound in my ears and dancing in the heat. I'm starting to turn up the radio and dance. I want to dance all the time lately. I went out dancing last night and at one moment I thought to myself, "I could do this everyday of the week."
Time is speeding up - there's so much to do and so little time to do it in. It's like sliding downhill...
That's all for now.

Just Put It On Me

There are exactly two coffee shops on the way to my work. Both sell bagels. Both will TOAST your bagel but neither actually puts the cream cheese on for you. They both give you shitty little cubes of cream cheese - not even enough for one bagel cheek. And one of the places doesn't even cut the goddamn bagel for you. Apparently, you're supposed to just squeeze the cream cheese tube onto your bagel like you do toothpaste. I feel like this situation is just plain rude. I hate to complain about costumer service. I feel like when you do that you automatically turn into a lil' ole man with a snap up shirt and hair in his ears. Wracka Fracka.
But it's just mean. That's all I'm saying. The lack of cream cheese application is harshing my mellow.
