It totally hates "G" and "H"
I've let this baby go because, as I've said before, the "g" and the "h" don't work on my laptop's keyboard. After many a run in with techies, laptop guys, microsofties and the all the other "computer gifted" well... they still don't work. I've taken this baby in, I've taken it back, I've replaced the keyboard and... it still totally hates G and H.
Well then "how in the hell am I writing this??" you may ask yourself.
My parents are coming down to seattle for my birthday party tomorrow night. As always, I use every opportunity to see them to also put some of my stuff in storage. THE MOVE IS UPON US. I leave for my new home, NYC, on March 28th of 2006.
Tomorrow I'll ferry off my old computer. It is giagantic, plastic and cream colored. It is very very old. And I raped it. I pillaged it. I completely ripped off it's arms....
and connected it's keyboard to my laptop.
Genius.
Saving up for new york, I don't have any cash left over for a new laptop. Or anything really. I need a camera too. How nice it would be to document my life - especially this time in my life.
What I was thinking earlier today that should be noted for future use:
How to throw a good party
1. Great music
2. Great space
3. Let people know at least two weeks ahead of time. If not more.
4. A good theme.
We'll see how tomorrow night goes but i think it might be nice. And make it very hard to leave Seattle without some water works.
